LITTLE ROCK—Governor Mike Beebe today announced the Arkansas Long-Term Care Partnership, which brings together private insurance and Medicaid to protect the assets of middle-income individuals as they enter their senior years or face long-term-care decisions. The Partnership is a joint program of Arkansas Medicaid, the Arkansas Insurance Department, and private insurance companies and begins next week.

I promised, that as Governor, I would address the complicated long-term-care issues our aging population faces. A new remedy to help Arkansans preserve what theyve earned will become reality July 1, Governor Beebe said.
