This complain is regarding the insurance claim of my Bike. My bike was burnt in some riot between two groups in Pul Pehladpur, Delhi, on 03/02/2011. The fire was doused by local people in that area and computerized FIR was lodged with that area police station. But a small mistake was done by police that they forgot to put my bike number on the FIR but they had mentioned the engine number in FIR.

I submitted all my the relevant documents to Insurance company for getting the insured amount of 30k. But Insurance company wants some proof from Fire brigade that they doused the fire and Insurance company also needs computerized FIR with Bike number on it.

Getting a receipt from fire brigade is out of the question and police station is also reluctant in issuing me new FIR but they wrote the bike number with pen on earlier FIR issued.
