Introduction

Of course, we hope that there wont be any need for you to see a doctor while studying in the Netherlands. However, if the need does arise, it is better to be well prepared. That is why we have included this page on medical issues. In the Netherlands you first have to go to see a family doctor or general practitioner before you can go to a specialist in the hospital. In this brochure you will find more information about the health care system in the Netherlands, and an overview of doctors, dentists and hospitals in Breda.
